In line with business strategy, the Flight Operations Specialist provides support on flights allocations management, on daily activities to Local Air Departments and on functional analysis for system enhancements and on handling of the emergencies (In case of ship/flights disruptions or tracing of lost luggage).
•Create Allocations PNRs in GDS, check names and ticketing deadlines;
•Coordinate with Corporate Offices (RM/Commercial/Corporate Air) to release flights, in compliance with contracts Terms & Conditions, producing report on the activity;
•Follow RM/Commercial instructions to increase flights by purchasing at best conditions and prices by negotiating directly with Airlines, producing report on the activity;
•Keep information files always updated (Flights Plans per product and per Office, Flights Schedules, Costs files);
•Prepare pre-set spreadsheets containing all Flights information (n. of seats per Origin & Destination, schedules, costs and selling price to be sent to Air Setup Department for loading) in order to have Fly & Cruise products available to sales;
•Support local Air Depts. in daily activities, providing technical support in IATA Reservation and Ticketing (ticket rebooking and rerouting, cancellations and refunds) and to GDS and DTS disruptions, GDS accreditations;
•In case of ship/flights disruptions (cancellations, strikes or any other critical circumstances), act fast to reroute bookings to re-protect guests;
•Support Ship management in helping guests with info and special requests on flights services provided with our Fly & Cruise packages, including tracing of lost luggage;
•Support IT in system enhancements as well in solving system disruptions and bugs fixing;
•Work in close contact with Business Intelligence to perform check on processes and data integrity.
•At least 2 years’ experience in flights reservations, ticketing & Computer Reservations System (CRS);
•Excellent oral and written English;
•Microsoft Excel skills are essential;
•Excellent knowledge of Amadeus;
•Knowledge of World Tracer is a plus;
•First-class customer service skills, strong phone/email contact handling skills and active listening;
•Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively;
•Ability to work under pressure.
