In line with Explora Journeys policies and procedures and under the supervision of the Wellness and Spa Management, the Yoga Instructor is responsible for delivering an exceptional Guest experience by providing yoga and meditation services to the Guests in order to achieve the highest levels of Guest satisfaction and maximize Wellness and Spa revenue. Exceptional guest service and the understanding of the Guests needs is an essential part of this role due to the one-to-one nature of the position. The ideal Yoga Instructor candidate will have an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any task – personifying luxury guest service.
• Be able to provide private and group classes accordingly;
• Participates in on-going training;
• Possess excellent communication skills and is able to provide wellness solutions to meet the individual needs of the Guests;
• Delivers the highest standards of service to all Guests within the Wellness and Spa facilities;
• Actively promotes Wellness and Spa services, programs, retail and the Wellness and Spa facilities;
• Maintains the standards and visual presentation of the treatment rooms and Wellness and Spa facilities;
• Follows all sanitation and cleaning procedures for all areas required for services and equipment;
• Assists in all areas as required by Spa Management.
• Proficient speaking, reading, and writing skills in English. Any other language is considered as a plus;
• High School Graduate or equivalent;
• Degree from a registered Yoga school;
• Deep knowledge of at least 2 Yoga types;
• Experience in sound therapy and meditation treatments essential;
• Experience in Spa treatments beneficial;
• Minimum 1-3 years of skills within a luxury wellness environment;
• Upselling and cross-selling skills;
• Exceptional communication and guest service skills;
• The ability to take a proactive approach to understand guests needs and desires.
Possess a valid passport and if available a seaman book.
