LINE MANAGER: Destination Experiences Manager
An exciting opportunity exists for a world class Destinations Experience Associate to join our newly created luxury travel brand “Explora Journeys”. Under the guidance of the Destination Experiences Manager and Assistant, the Destination Experiences Associate actively promotes and sells Destination Experiences, contributing to achieving financial goals. They provide excellent customer service to guests, handling inquiries and feedback, while also managing administrative tasks and ensuring the quality of Destination Experiences during their participation.
• Deliver exceptional service in sales, bookings, and private arrangements, striving to exceed Guest expectations.
• Provide assistance to guests at the Destination Experiences Desk, addressing a range of inquiries beyond the Destination Experience programs, including basic duties of the Guest Services department.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of ports of call and available Destination Experiences, assisting guests according to their preferences and interests.
• Regularly participate in Destination Experiences to maintain product and port knowledge and ensure the experience quality.
• Collect and handle Guests’ feedback and provide continuous follow-up.
• Coordinate the dispatch of Destination Experiences and tenders in a timely manner.
• Handle requests and arrangements for private arrangements.
• Collaborate closely with supervisors, colleagues, and other departments to achieve the highest levels of Guest satisfaction.
• Embrace and uphold the Company’s Core Values, including flawless execution, dedication to family & community, spirit of entrepreneurship, financial excellence, and environmental stewardship.
• Perform any additional tasks or duties as required or delegated by the Destination Experience Manager and Assistant, including and not limited to disembarkation arrangements.
• Fluent English, oral and written and 2 additional European languages are required (Italian, Portuguese, German, Spanish, French).
• Experience in complaints management and selling techniques.
• Computer Literacy, knowledge of Publisher and Fidelio is an advantage.
• Extensive experience with diverse Luxury/Premium hospitality on cruise ships.
• Previous experience in Start Ups/Pre-openings is an advantage.
Possess a valid passport and if available a seaman book.
