In line with the Company standards, the Accounting Methodology and Quality Controls Specialist contributes in the processes and procedures drafting and their continuous evolution/update/archiving, providing inputs for their evolution and for the definition of metrics/KPI/analytics to monitor each process, playing a key role in the formalization of quality controls plan and, with the support of Managers/Team Leaders, in its delivery.
•Support the Accounting Methodology and Quality Controls Manager in drafting processes and procedures to be approved by Accounting Shared Service Centre Senior Manager;
•Follow up the requests to amend/ updated procedures/ processes agreed;
•Take care to structure a repository to store approved documents;
•In agreement with the Accounting Methodology and Quality Controls Manager and the Accounting Shared Service Centre Senior Manager, formalize a methodology and the metrics for quality controls;
•In agreement with the Accounting Methodology and Quality Controls Manager and the Accounting Shared Service Centre Senior Manager, formalize the quality controls plan and, with the support of Managers/ Team Leaders, run the activities planned;
•Support the Accounting Methodology and Quality Controls Manager in formalizing documents to be provided for ERP and other corporate projects and for any other change in scope for ASSC;
•Identify process and system improvement opportunities.
•At least 3 years’ experience in Audit e/o Risk consulting;
•Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles;
•Fluent English (written, oral); any additional European language is considered an advantage;
•Excellent knowledge of MS Office;
•Knowledge and experience in SAP S4 (or equivalent), SAP Signavio (or in another equivalent Tool for business process management) will be a plus;
•Master’s Degree in Economics;
•High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and quantitative skills (ie. Data-crunching, analytics review);
•Multitasking ability and handling stress and working under pressure capacity;
•Effective communicator, self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work in a team environment.
•Right to work in Italy.
