Housekeeping

• Ensuring strict compliance of Housekeeping Department operations with Company Safety, Security, and Public Health requirements. 
• Developing and executing comprehensive plans for all housekeeping services, emphasizing enhancing guest experiences, maintaining quality assurance, and optimizing cost control. 
• Providing support and mentorship to the housekeeping leadership team to improve their performance and service delivery. Conducting performance evaluations to effectively manage succession planning and identify areas where additional coaching may be beneficial. 
• Coordinating and planning vacation schedules, including pre-opening activities for new ships. 
• Conducting technical interviews for potential additions to the housekeeping department and actively participating in recruiting events. 
• Remaining open to new ways to enhance our housekeeping services and exceed guest expectations continually. Encouraging innovation and creativity within the team to improve our overall service offerings. 

• 5 years of experience in the Housekeeping field of luxury hotels and cruise line brands. 

• Excellent understanding of linen and chemical specifications used in housekeeping. 

• Outstanding knowledge of Vessel Sanitation Program regulations and procedures concerning housekeeping. 

• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects, and develops timelines to meet deadlines within specific parameters. 

• Sound knowledge of accounting, budgeting and cost control procedures.

• Previous experience in Start Ups/Pre-openings is an advantage.

• High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team. 

• Knowledge of Fidelio/Otalio, Micros, and Crunchtime is an advantage.

• Fluent in written and spoken English. Any additional European language is considered an advantage: German, Italian, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.

 

• Possess a valid passport and Seaman Book.
