The eCommerce Product manager will optimize the consumer website to improve the overall consumer experience while maximizing bookings, revenue and ensuring a seamless online check-in experience the candidate will be a key stakeholder for developing the product roadmap that develops on the channels booking and revenue goals. Responsible for executing, and continuously optimizing an engaging eCommerce experience for our Booking and Web Check-In products. The overall goal for this position is the development, implementation and merchandising of our product with the aim to increase conversion, awareness, interest, and adoption of our product and Web-Check In process. The eCommerce Product Lead will assist the eCommerce Manager with the prioritization of business needs and ensure technology solutions are aligned with the roadmap.
•Determine key strategic initiatives to increase conversion and diminish customer friction.
•Using data collaborates in the creation of the testing roadmap for our booking and Web Check-In experience according to business value.
•Collaborates with internal and external partners to engage consumers and increase Web Check-In adoption.
•Aids in the prioritization of enhancements based on business value and effort.
•Oversees the enhancement lifecycle from conception, implementation, and adoption.
•Responsible for monitoring the performance of tests and enhancements across booking and Web Check-In to report delivered business value and optimizations.
•Works with embarkation and product teams to update content and ensure information accuracy of pre-boarding requirements and on-board services.
•Manages day-to-day business relationships with optimization agency, 3rd party providers, corporate and local teams, to ensure the delivery of high-quality functionality.
•Using user/competitor research provides input on enhancements and testing plans.
•Engaging with multiple business stakeholders to ensure all booking and Web Check-In product needs are accounted for.
•Apply insights from testing and other users research efforts to inform new product development.
•Write logical, detailed and complete product requirements and functional specifications.
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business administration or a relevant subject.
•3-5+ years working on eCommerce strategies, digital integrations for website, mobile and other digital channels, with the goal of increasing adoption and improve revenue.
•In-depth understanding of technology and functionality required to enable seamless digital experiences across multiple platforms.
•Experience in all stages of user-centric website/app development strategies from planning to execution, including post-implementation analysis and recommendations.
•Strong leadership and collaborative experience with internal and external stakeholders
•Experience working with internal or external creative teams, online technical and marketing partners, research, tracking and performance firms and suppliers
•Travel industry eCommerce experience a plus
