MSC CRUISES CAREERS Treasury and Finance Manager

JOB PURPOSE

In line with the growth of MSC Brasil, we are looking for an Account Payable Analyst. The role involves providing financial and administrative support to the organization. The role is to assist the treasury manager to administer payments and control expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying and reconciling invoices to suppliers’ statements. Working with our teams across the globe to ensure that Accounts Payable (3rd party and inter-company) and all related activities are performed in accordance with best practices and Group reporting calendars.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Create new Supplier accounts as necessary ensuring all validation checks have been carried out and evidenced, coordinating with Procurement, other functions, and shared services center in Naples;
• Posting of several types of invoices related to services, goods, taxes, payments advance, utilities, court guides, etc;
• Following to solve the outstanding payments advances of vendors and employees;
• Matching invoices to suppliers and accurate coding of invoices;
• In charge of month end responsibilities that relate to the purchase ledger;
• Supports AP process and payment runs and assists the Treasury and Cash Manager in the payment cycle and cash management in the ERP RM TOVS;
• Manage credit cards and reconcile monthly credit card statements;
• Timely and accurate payments of invoices and employee expenses. To ensure all payments are approved and made to suppliers within term;
• Post, reconcile and pay employee expenses, including ensuring VAT is recovered;
• Prepare payment run on a weekly basis in the ERP RM TOVS;
• Takes part in month-end closing activities in ERP RM TOVS.

QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Engineering;

• Strong accounts payable experience;

• Knowledge in English, Italian will be considered a Plus;

• Desirable Knowledge in the ERP RM TOTVS or another TOTVS ERP;

• Proficiency in MS Office;

• 1-3 Years’ experience in a similar role;

• High volume processing of invoices (250+);

• Positive personality, social and committed;

• Assertive, with the ability to build strong relationship quickly and push back when required;

• Excellent time management skills;

• Attention to detail and data entry skills are important requirements;

• Excellent communications skills;

• Business Administration;

• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills. Good ability to analyze and communicate results both in writing and verbally.
