To control the Owner Supply spend for the New Build cruise ships. You will enjoy analysing project budgets and performance against these, seeking out efficiencies where possible. You will ensure that costs are effectively controlled and that maximum value is attained with strong engagement across multiple areas of the business.
•Maintains and reports consolidated position of Owner Supply budgets versus expenditure across newbuilding programme, contributing also to cashflow management.
•Monitors and reports Metrics and KPIs for Owner Supply Management across newbuilding projects and ensures due processes are followed.
•Supports new building projects in the development and monitoring of Owner Supply budgets.
•Assist in the preparation of analysis, reports and presentations for New Builds monthly and quarterly meetings.
•Works very closely with, supporting and deputising as appropriate for, the Head of Controlling.
•Supporting systems changes and implementation, in particular the SAP S4 Hana ongoing deployment.
•Works closely with business departments based in France, Italy (Naples, Sorrento, Genoa, Monfalcone) Switzerland, Malta and with Finance colleagues based in the same locations.
•Preparation and analysis of business cases for out of budget requests, investments, and conducting post investment analysis.
•Deals with ad hoc requests such as presentations for UK board meetings, Procurement analysis, etc.
•Excellent English - verbal and written. Knowledge of Italian strongly preferred, French is advantageous.
•Educated at degree level and a qualified accountant.
•Significant experience with financial planning, analysis and control.
•Able to operate in a complex, fast moving and dynamic environment and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
•Culturally aware and able to operate effectively in an international environment.
•Resilient personality, able to meet stretching deadlines with an eye for detail.
•Strong networking skills and ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders globally is essential.
•Keen to develop, progress and take on greater responsibility.
•Knowledge of shipping and engineering beneficial.
•Need to have the right to work in the UK.
•Some European travel required.
