In line with MSC Cruises policies and procedures and under the supervision of the SPA Manager, the Spa Sales Associate is responsible for driving service and retail sales in order to maximise SPA revenue and achieve the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
-To ensure Spa retail and service sales by guest interaction, hosting of activities and conducting wellness consultations.
-To manage the Spa boutique / Spa retail area, greeting and assisting guests, following correct setup and merchandising guidelines and inventory management.
-To execute regular wellness and spa events and activities as per company procedure in regards to setup, script and promotional offers.
-Executes skincare / body care / hair care consultations, promoting service and retail solutions.
-Supports the onboard therapist and technician team in closing retail sales.
-Supports the Spa Reception in upselling, upgrading and closing service packages.
-Executes product knowledge and retail techniques training sessions to the Spa Team.
-Supports in all areas of the SPA operation as requested by the SPA Manager.
-Advanced – Product knowledge (Skincare, Body care, Hair care)
-Proficient speaking, reading, and writing skills in English; the knowledge of any other language like: German, Italian, French,Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, Chinese is considered a plus.
-High School Graduate or equivalent.
-Up-selling and cross-selling skills.
-Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
