• Manage a team of Journey Together ambassadors on group quotes and bookings, pre journey sales, service follow-ups, inventory allotment reviews, onboard dining and other shipboard activities and group reconciliation
• Identify and implement Standard Operating Procedures and improvements for increasing overall efficiency and service levels
• Collaborate closely with the Commercial and Revenue teams on group allocation, inventory management and yield strategies
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify group leads and act as a consultant to guide them in our non-traditional product
• Ensure providing timely and accurate quotations and assumes overall responsibility for agreement, preparation, delivery and completion of all groups
• Establish a group review process to ensure allocations are being managed effectively
• Build robust shoreside and shipboard communications processes / SOPs using GoSpark etc
• Analyse and assess weekly sales performance and produce reporting on results, hot topics and measures needed to meet objectives
• Support the Journey Together & Charter Sales Lead with handling shipboard operations
• Work with the Trade Marketing team to ensure that Journey Together marketing materials are accurate and up to date
• Highly motivated individual with a keen understanding of groups operations within a contact centre environment
• Experience using Versonix Seaware is required
• Knowledge of SalesForce Service Cloud is a distinct advantage
• Knowledge of GoSpark is an advantage
• Previous experience in the luxury cruise industry and in a contact centre environment is a plus
• Works well under pressure and follows through on tasks to completion
• Complete understanding of the sales process, the booking process and the on board operations process
• Has a creative, solution-oriented mindset for supporting a non-traditional cruise product
• Highly flexible and adaptable to meeting the evolving needs of a high-growth and fast-paced organization
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and an ability to partner with stakeholders across all EEC geographies and in a matrix organisation
• Maintaining and improving client relationships is essential for increasing reservations and ensuring repeat business
• Ability to travel 10% on board the ships
