MSC CRUISES CAREERS Accounts Payable Team Leader

JOB PURPOSE

In line with Corporate financial policies and procedures, the Accounts Payable Specialist is in charge of verifying invoices data, resolving possible discrepancies, posting invoices and reconciling accounts payables transactions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

•Verify the invoices data, resolving possible discrepancies between invoices data, goods receipts and purchase orders data, in compliance with Company guidelines;

•Post invoices according with fiscal rules and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles);

•Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions;

•Take part in month-end closing activities.

QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)

•1-3 Years’ experience in a similar role;

•Fluent in Italian and in English (including listening/speaking);

•Proficiency in MS Office;

•Knowledge of SAP (FI-AP, MM), Esker and Crunchtime is considered a plus;

•Knowledge of basic double entries book-keeping and accounts payables postings;

•Degree in Economics or in a related discipline;

•Customer service orientation and good communication skills;

•High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
