LINE MANAGER: Director of Market Strategy, Pricing & Analytics
The Sales Analytics Contractor will be responsible for maintaining existing suite of Power BI dashboards, updating Powerpoint presentations for monthly business reviews, and facilitating ad-hoc analysis and data requests to support the Sales team and Trade partners.
- Refresh and maintain Power BI dashboards that monitor sales KPIs and trends by channel, account, territory, etc.
- Analyze ROI of various campaigns, present to Sales leadership, and use findings to inform future offer decisions
- Update Powerpoint presentations for monthly financial reviews and monthly account deep dive reviews
- Create and regularly update reports and dashboards, ownership of key daily, weekly, monthly sales reports and subsequent analysis
- Manage sales incentive commissions which includes calculating eligibility, reviews, and distributing reports for payment
- Work with Finance department to update co-op marketing spend actuals and forecast
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and data cleanup and validation
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s Degree required; major in Business, Economics, Finance, or other analytics-intensive fields a plus
- 3+ years of business, finance, or marketing analytics experience; background in travel industry a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly proficient in Power BI – comfortable maintaining existing dashboards, creating new views, and troubleshooting code if a report fails
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel – comfortable manipulating data and maintaining large spreadsheets with high level of accuracy
- Experience with SAP Business Objects a plus
- Experience with writing queries a plus
