LINE MANAGER: IT Infrastructure Manager
Acting as the main IT contact for the MSC Cruises UK&ROI division, this exciting new role covers a wide range of IT based responsibilities, ranging from new user set up to end user service troubleshooting, managing incidents, IT upgrades and maintenance activities.By supporting various departments with IT issues, incidents raised through the ticketing system, troubleshooting and/or escalating specific system issues, you will be an integral part of the business, ensuring consistency and efficiency through IT systems and programs. Other IT duties may be assigned from time to time (e.g. support or coordination for new IT Services Implementation Projects)
·Acts as main IT contact for MSC Cruises UK&ROI division
·Supports personal computing/smart devices managed with the Intune platform, meeting room conferencing AV and multifunction devices
·Engages with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally to the business and maintains relationships with IT suppliers, including SLA management
·Maintains IT budget for local divisions, identifying computer or network shortages are ordered in line with assigned budget
·Manages the infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, databases, VoiP, end point protection software and other processes, ensuring security and privacy of networks and computer systems
·Performs troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
·Supports Office Suite Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access etc.)
·Supports with department specific software, systems and programs, escalating where appropriate
·Manages Local Active Directory and Entra ID
·Manages JIRA and Service-Now tickets, supporting end users and prioritises ticketed issues in order of urgency
·Appropriate and relevant IT skills accreditations, ITIL is advantageous
·Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
·IT budget management experience, including negotiation with suppliers and SLA monitoring knowledge
·Experience using Office 365 applications and ticketing systems including JIRA and Service Now
·Fluent in English language, both spoken and written (business level Italian is an advantage)
·Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders across the business, including IT colleagues from international offices
·Experience with fault diagnosis and resolution for photocopiers, printers, scanners etc
·Mobile phone operating platform knowledge (both iOS and Android)
·Full Right to Work in the UK required
