An exciting opportunity exists for a talented Revenue Management Professional to join our newly created luxury travel brand Explora Journeys and be responsible to determine, implement pricing & revenue management strategies and processes, support Top Management decisions and other departments with in-depth analytics. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights, contributing to the overall commercial success of Explora Journeys. This role is based in the office out of our Headquarters in Geneva.
• Define Start Up Pricing for all new products and Coordinate its Implementation into the Systems with Business Integration and Inventory& Setup Teams. Includes pricing for Journey & Onboard Products.
• Price Steering leveraging promotions and pricing structure coordinating with the sales organization and Inventory & Setup Team.
• Coordinate the New Season Creation and Launch Phase with Itinerary Planning, Marketing, Sales, Setup, and Digital Teams. Definition of Extended/Grand Journeys, Start Up Allocation.
• Provide regular Competitive Intelligence Reports and Insights to Top Management and Sales.
• Define and Drive Upselling Strategy with Call Centre and Onboard Teams.
• Support New Builds Decision Making Process with Analytics on Ship Configuration and Inventory Detailed Requirements.
• Coordinate Inventory Management & Optimization Tasks with Setup & Inventory Team (suites allocation, group probabilities, opening/closing suites availability, upselling opportunities and overbooking).
• Groups & Charter Pricing and Management, allocation, adhoc charter quotation and option reviews.
• Lead IT Business Initiatives for Pricing & Revenue Management.
• Define Special Fare Programs (Complimentary, Travel Advisor, Interlines, Casino VIP Players, Friends & Family, etc …).
• Define Short Term and Long Term, Booking Year and Arrival Year Budgets and Quarterly Forecasts in Coordination with corporate Finance. Includes Budget for Ticketing, Shorex and Pre & Post.
• Consolidate Data from multiple sources to create reporting tools and support analyses
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven first experience in revenue management, pricing, or analytics roles, ideally in the luxury hospitality or cruise industry.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data modelling,forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Proficiency in revenue management systems and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, RMS).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Strong business acumen and an understanding of luxury consumer behaviour.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment andmanage multiple priorities.
• Fluency in English is required; additionallanguages are a plus.
