Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss hospitality in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group’s hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of six luxury ships (four currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travelers.
The Strategic Project Manager work closely with the President of Explora Journeys, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless coordination and execution of initiatives across the organization. This strategic position is vital to driving the company’s objectives and optimizing operations across various departments. The ideal candidate will bring proven project management expertise, strong operational and commercial acumen, and an ability to manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously, all while upholding the highest standards of excellence. The position is based out of our Headquarters in Geneva.
• Project Execution: Manage and oversee the execution of strategic projects, coordinating with departments to ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Executive Support: Act as a liaison between the President and internal teams, preparing analyses, presentations, and reports for key meetings.
• Process Optimization: Evaluate current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.
• Meeting Coordination: Accompany the President in meetings, take notes, and create detailed action plans, ensuring effective communication with relevant stakeholders.
• Special Initiatives: Lead special projects and innovations, driving new business opportunities to strengthen the company’s market position.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 5 years of professional experience, preferably in luxury travel, hospitality, or cruise industry.
• Strong background in project management and strategic planning.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Master of the MS Office Suite
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French or other European language is a plus.
