The Youth Staff Manager is responsible to supervise and manage the entertainment program and activities of the Entertainment team for the enjoyment of Guests aged 3 to 17.
-To lead the team of Youth Entertainment personnel, with the objective of providing high class events and activities for the young Guests throughout the Cruise.
-To bring to life the entertainment program for young Guests.
-To prepare the forthcoming cruise Youth entertainment program for the approval of the Cruise Director.
-To make proposal for new activities.
-To collaborate with the Cruise Director.
-At least 12 months as Manager or Assistant Manager in a similar environment with children on board or in a shoreside facility.
-Demonstrated ability to entertain, communicate and socialise with persons of all ages (specifically 3- to 17-year-olds) and backgrounds.
-Documented certification of ability to supervise young children (ages above 3 years).
-Proven ability to manage situations under stress and prevent incidents in within youth facilities.
-Fluent in oral and written English (working & Safety language of the Company); ability to speak, read and write in Italian is a major benefit and may be a requirement; ability to speak, read and write in any major other languages (German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Russian, Chinese etc.) is considered a major advantage that could eventually influence the selection for some positions.
-Proven ability to work and supervise in a harmonious productive team environment.
-High or Senior School graduate.
-Above average skills in tactful, diplomatic crisis and problem handling.
