LINE MANAGER: Director, HR Business Partner
MSC Cruises, the world's third largest cruise line brand, is hiring for an HR Engagement Intern. We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven intern to help us create engaging team member experiences, enhance our positive culture, and improve the way we reach our internal team members. This internship will provide you with experience driving engagement programs and initiatives, creating and managing unique experiences for our team members, as well as executing internal communications.
This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days per week in the office, in Miami or Fort Lauderdale.
· Create Effective Engagement Programs: Develop, implement, and support the planning and execution of team member events and activities that promote a positive and collaborative culture.
· Drive Internal Communication: Create and disseminate information to our internal team member population in an effective, engaging, and timely manner; track communication analytics to measure effectiveness of activations
· Support D&I Initiatives: Coordinate diversity & inclusion initiatives, including Employee Resource Groups (ERG) support, focus groups, training, and community events.
· Project Support: Collaborate on cross-functional projects relating to HR, internal communication, analytics, diversity and inclusion, performance, talent management, and talent development
· Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
· Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
· Ability to identify and solve problems with minimal guidance
· Organized with high attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to build strong working relationships across diverse teams
· Ability to think independently and navigate initiatives where established processes may not exist
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in Human Resources, Communications, Public Relations, or Event Management
· Experience working across global teams
· Experience in the cruise industry or travel industry
