LINE MANAGER: Head of Global Insurance
We’re seeking an Insurance Manager to strengthen our Global Insurance Department. Reporting directly to the Head of Global Insurance, the Insurance Manager will participate in designing and implementing of Group's risk transfer strategy, to provide control, administration, coordination and advisory assistance for any insurance covers placed within MSC Cruises Group on global basis. You will play a key role within MSC Cruises global insurance governance with involvement on risk analysis, insurance placements and renewals, guidance and assistance on insurance claims, loss prevention initiatives and alternative risk transfer solutions. The ideal candidate will have excellent understanding of insurance business with minimum five years of experience. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments.
• Provide active support and follow-up on all insurance renewals (Marine and non-Marine), including full documentation aspects as verification of insurance certificates and invoices.
• Provide active support and follow-up on all insurance advisory tasks (risk assessments, new placements, claims advisory) among MSC Cruise Group.
• Provide administrative support to the global Insurance Department by controlling and supervising all premium payments and invoicing, including insurance and follow-up of relevant Pos.
• Provide active support on internal insurance reporting and budgeting.
• Assist the Head of Global Insurance on the management of the governance (placements, claims handling, advisory) of the global travel insurance offer set-up for MSC Cruises clients.
• Assist the Head of Global Insurance on the management and update of records listing all information of Global MSC Cruises insurances (Marine and non-marine).
• Assessment, optimization and monitoring of the Non-Marine insurance portfolio worldwide, in coordination with the Head of Global Insurance.
• Minimum 5 years experience with good knowledge of insurance business.
• Knowledge of Marine & Travel insurance business would be beneficial.
• Loyal, reliable, flexible, open minded, team worker, amicable, ability to self-critic.
• Excellent command of English, any other additional european languages would be a plus.
