JOB PURPOSE

MSC Cruises, the world’s third-largest cruise line brand, is expanding its Finance and Accounting team in the USA. This contract role as a Revenue Accounting Coordinator is essential in supporting revenue-related transactions by managing agency transfer requests, processing refunds, reconciling commissions, verifying returned commission addresses, and maintaining balance due reports. Reporting to the Revenue Accounting Manager, this position supports the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations by assisting with the timely processing of pre-paid uploads and other accounting tasks as needed, contributing to the seamless execution of revenue accounting functions.

Process Agency transfers requestsRun refunds in DTS & save resultsReconcile commissions from Nav to PaymodeUpload pre-paid Excel files in DatatransReturned commission addresses verificationBalance due daily reportsOther tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)

·        Fluent English (oral and written skills)

·        Associates Degree or higher education in Accounting, Finance or Business

·        Minimum of one (1) year experience in Accounting, Finance or Business (preferred)

·        Proficient computer, technical and troubleshooting skills

·        Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Match, PivotTables, etc.)

·        Ability to work flexibly to the needs of the business and under pressure
