An exciting opportunity exists for a talented Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst to support the budgeting and forecasting activities as well as global analysis of financial and operating results of our newly created luxury travel brand “Explora Journeys”.
Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss Hospitality and luxury in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group's hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of six ships (currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and define the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travelers.
•Assist in annual companywide budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecasting processes (ultimately leading);
•Understand and explain variances between actual results and financial projections for all P&L components, and provide timely financial insights to business partners (Head of Functions);
•Support ad-hoc analysis and corporate reporting as needed;
•Manage the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and yearly management reporting of the company;
•Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made;
•Create and maintain necessary P&L reporting for business partners providing decision support;
•Supports and develops scenario planning financial modeling
•Finance, Business or related degree with a strong financial qualification;
•This role will require a mix of finance/reporting, financial data analytics, and process management skills;
•At least 5 years of relevant progressive experience including FP&A;•Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint;
•Leadership skills that demonstrate a hands-on approach to working in a team-based environment;
•Robust understanding of Finance and Accounting principles;
•Critical thinking and analytical skills;
•Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines; strong organization skills;
•Self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong time management skills;
•Fluent in English;
•Experience in the luxury industry is a plus.
